I have been around the hot rod hobby for quite some time and around cars since 1959. Wanda and I have had some really great cars over the years, we have met some really outstanding people who have become close friends, and have enjoyed this hobby and lifestyle.
Of the dozen or so cars we have had we have always bought or traded for done or near done (are they ever?) and then personalized, tweeked and improved to meet my anal perspective. Attention to detail has been the key. And, like most hot rodders we know, we have always had the bug to build one before it was too late. This blog is the story of the build, what went right, what went wrong, and the hope here is that we can prevent one of you from being screwed.
